• Dollars VIVA

    Dollars VIVA provides low-cost, high-quality full-body motion capture

    with a minimum of six-point tracking using the HTC Vive and its compatible hardware.

    How Dollars VIVA works

    Dollars VIVA directly reads tracker information from SteamVR, performs motion solving, and sends the solved skeletal information in real-time to Unity or Unreal Engine, to drive your skeletal model.

     

    You can also record the motion capture data as BVH files in Dollars MoCap, and then edit the motion capture data in various 3D software such as Maya, Blender, 3DS Max, Motion Builder, etc., to create animations.

    Supported hardware types

    Dollars VIVA supports devices compatible with SteamVR, including,

    • HTC VIVE Controller
    • Valve Index Controller (with native finger tracking support)

    Tracker

    • HTC VIVE Tracker
    • Tundra Tracker

    Supported tracker configurations

    Dollars VIVA supports various tracker configurations, which you can choose based on your actual needs.

    The criteria for selection include:

    • Are the hands using trackers or controllers?
    • Do you need upper body motion capture or full-body motion capture?
    • Is the head using a head-mounted display or a tracker?
    • Is knee tracking required?
    • Is elbow tracking required?

  • System requirements

    In order to use Dollars VIVA smoothly, it is recommended that your computer has at least the following configuration,

    • CPU: Intel Core i5-4590 / AMD FX 8350 and equivalent CPU
    • Graphics card: NVIDIA GTX 1060 / AMD Radeon RX 480 or above
    • Operating system: Win10 or above
